About David

I have been a part of Grace Community Church since June of 2007. My family and I moved up from Florida so I could pursue a degree at Liberty University and we fell in love with the people at Grace and the people of Altavista. As I slowly worked on my bachelor’s degree, I was personally mentored by the founding pastor, Dave Christy. When the Lord moved him in a different direction, the church received me as the lead pastor in 2012. My family and I have enjoyed being a part of and serving beside this faithful body.

My wife and I met at St. Cloud High School in Florida and began dating in 1995. We were married in February of 1998. In the year 2000 the Lord saved us and transformed our lives. Shortly after the Lord saved us, He blessed us with our first born and then three more to follow. We have three boys and one girl. We are a competitive bunch and enjoy playing anything that we can win from Euchre to soccer. We also enjoy traveling, shooting and fishing when we get the time.
